DESIGN MANAGER, DESPRO ENGINEERING

You will lead and coordinate the design process for data center projects from the client's perspective, acting as a key link between project managers, contractors, and stakeholders. Your role involves managing design reviews, ensuring technical alignment across disciplines, and driving decision-making in complex project environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall design coordination for data‑center projects from the client’s perspective
- Serve as link between project managers, designers, construction crews, contractors and customers
- Make decisions and resolve design issues under uncertainty
- Lead design‑review processes and approve design documents
- Align changes across multiple engineering disciplines and manage their impacts
- Develop and improve processes, models and teams for a growing data‑center business
- Potentially coordinate experts and assume people‑management responsibilities
Requirements
- Experience in energy infrastructure, high‑voltage systems, or similar critical projects
- Background in design, construction, or project management for large‑scale facilities
- Ability to read technical drawings and assess system impacts
- Fluent in Finnish and English
- Willingness to travel to construction sites as needed
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
