Construction Design Manager

Manage cruise ship retail construction projects from handoff through construction administration and closeout, coordinating internal teams, cruise line partners, outfitters, and vendors to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements. Direct design implementation, budgets, quality assurance, site visits, field reporting, punch lists, and final cruise line approvals.

Responsibilities

• Manage cruise ship retail construction projects from handoff through construction administration and closeout, coordinating internal teams, cruise line partners, outfitters, and vendors to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements. Direct design implementation, budgets, quality assurance, site visits, field reporting, punch lists, and final cruise line approvals.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in interior design, architecture, construction management, or a related building-industry field; NCIDQ, AIA, or CSI credentials are preferred. Candidates need at least three years of project execution and construction experience, including construction administration, strong project management and design skills, and the ability to travel nationally and internationally; cruise ship experience is preferred but not required.
