Lead the design and quality of user experiences for complex digital products, using research and strategic analysis to develop accessible, intuitive solutions aligned with user needs, organizational goals, and technical constraints. Coordinate UX work across teams, guide research and design standards, advise stakeholders, and mentor other designers.
Responsibilities
- Analyse complex UX problems and advise on appropriate solutions
- Translate user needs, business processes and information flows into design strategies
- Develop wireframes, interaction models, prototypes and user flows within established architecture guidelines
- Review and ensure consistency of designs from other UX designers against standards and patterns
- Support the implementation of designs by guiding developers and architects
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Developers on digital product development
- Identify UX bottlenecks and risks, propose improvements
- Lead and conduct extensive user research and validation activities
- Mentor junior and medior UX designers and share best practices
- Contribute to the evolution of UX guidelines, design system and processes
Requirements
- HBO/WO degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, HumanâComputer Interaction, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 6 years of UX design experience, with proven seniorâlevel work
- Strong knowledge of UX strategy, design systems and interaction patterns
- Expert proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (including design tokens, variables and scalable architecture)
- Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design solutions
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG AA), inclusive and service design
- Experience in multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum development teams
- Preferred experience in complex government or enterprise environments and defenceârelated systems
- Strong analytical, creative, communication and collaboration skills
