Lead Product Designer

You will embed with portfolio companies to modernize mission-critical software and transform operations using AI-powered workflows. Your role involves leading engagements from discovery through adoption, ensuring products deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Identify and define highâimpact problems by understanding customer needs and product priorities
- Observe real work contexts to capture constraints, handoffs, and exceptions
- Prioritize solutions based on value, feasibility, effort, risk, and reuse potential
- Partner with product and engineering teams to set bounded pilots, success criteria, and stop conditions
- Lead delivery, resolve dependencies, and adjust scope as learning occurs
- Stay through adoption, testing with customers, and iterating based on live feedback
- Measure results, quantify quality, time, and cost improvements, and report outcomes
- Capture reusable workflows, evaluation cases, and lessons for future engagements
- Utilize Beaconâs Arc and Cortex platforms to support deployments
Requirements
- Evidence of taking ambiguous product or operational problems through delivery to sustained use
- Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize constraints
- Technical fluency with AIâenabled products, integrations, data, and evaluation
- Ability to prototype ideas and discuss reliability, cost, and tradeâoffs with engineers
- Excellent communication and trustâbuilding with operators and leaders
- Experience leading crossâfunctional work without formal authority
- Sound risk assessment and humanâreview judgment
