Staff AI Product Designer
Deeply Remote (🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States of America)
Research couples’ needs and behavior, identify product opportunities, and design AI-powered conversations, recommendations, reports, and workflows. Establish ways to evaluate product and AI quality, then collaborate with engineers to test, ship, and measure improvements that advance user outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Identify unmet needs, relationship patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Design AI conversations, personalized recommendations, reports, and workflows
- Create prototypes, test them, and ship improvements
- Develop evaluation frameworks for AI conversations and recommendations
- Synthesize research into product recommendations and prioritize roadmap
Requirements
- Strong product and interaction design skills with shipped consumer products
- Excellent UX research abilities, including interviews and qualitative synthesis
- Deep curiosity about psychology, relationships, and human behavior
- Ability to translate complex insights into simple, compelling experiences
- High ownership and comfort in an early‑stage startup environment
- Experience designing AI‑native or conversational interfaces is a plus
