Head of Design

Lead product design across UGLYCASH and Reserve, shaping what gets built and turning complex financial concepts into clear, polished customer experiences. Evolve both brands’ visual identities and design systems, and own design work from early flows and prototypes through implementation and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Define and ship product experiences that simplify complex financial ideas
• Create and evolve visual brand identity, design systems, and brand assets
• Collaborate directly with founders, engineers, and a fellow designer
• Make strategic design decisions and execute high‑quality UI work
• Leverage AI tools to enhance design processes
• Own end‑to‑end design from early flows and prototypes to polished interfaces

Requirements

• Proven product design portfolio with real‑world shipped products
• Strong visual taste in interaction, typography, and details
• Ability to prioritize, work through ambiguity, and deliver independently
• Experience using AI to accelerate design exploration and execution
• Leadership mindset without formal team‑building responsibilities
