Design Manager (Wastewater Non-Infrastructure)

Manage the design and delivery of wastewater treatment and non-infrastructure projects across AMP8, coordinating process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines while controlling programmes, resources, risks, and budgets. Deliver safe, compliant, buildable, and sustainable TotEx-led solutions, support bids and client relationships, and mentor engineers and designers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design and delivery of wastewater treatment and non-infrastructure projects across AMP8, coordinating process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines while controlling programmes, resources, risks, and budgets. Deliver safe, compliant, buildable, and sustainable TotEx-led solutions, support bids and client relationships, and mentor engineers and designers.
Requirements
- Applicants should hold a degree in civil, mechanical, process, or a related engineering discipline and have achieved or be working toward Chartered Engineer status. They need extensive UK water-sector wastewater non-infrastructure design experience, senior design leadership in collaborative frameworks or alliances, and strong knowledge of treatment processes, TotEx, Ofwat drivers, NEC contracts, BIM, sustainability, and commercial delivery.
