Design Manager (Wastewater Non-Infrastructure)

Manage the design and delivery of wastewater non-infrastructure projects across AMP8, coordinating process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines while controlling programmes, resources, risks, and budgets. Deliver safe, buildable, sustainable, and TotEx-led solutions; support bids and client relationships; and mentor engineers and designers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design and delivery of wastewater non-infrastructure projects across AMP8, coordinating process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines while controlling programmes, resources, risks, and budgets. Deliver safe, buildable, sustainable, and TotEx-led solutions; support bids and client relationships; and mentor engineers and designers.
Requirements
- A degree in civil, mechanical, process engineering, or a related discipline is required, along with Chartered Engineer status or progress toward chartership. Candidates should have extensive UK water-sector wastewater design experience, senior design leadership in collaborative frameworks or alliances, strong wastewater process and regulatory knowledge, and experience with TotEx, NEC contracts, BIM, sustainability, and commercial delivery.
