Lead Motion & Graphic Designer

Create graphics, animations, explainer videos, and interactive learning experiences in collaboration with Learning Experience Designers, from concept through final edit. Lead and mentor the design team, establish visual standards and reusable assets, improve production workflows, and prototype new formats for the learning platform.

Responsibilities

• Design learning visuals, graphics, animations, motion pieces, and explainer videos from concept to final edit
• Establish and maintain visual and motion standards, guidelines, templates, and reusable asset libraries for curriculum content
• Lead the design team through critiques, planning sessions, retrospectives, and mentorship
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to develop shared libraries, AI‑assisted workflows, and automation of repetitive tasks
• Prototype interactive formats such as clickable diagrams, simple simulations, and step‑by‑step visual explainers
• Edit and enhance video content, adding simple visual effects and sound design
• Experiment with new video and interactive formats using AI tools like Claude Design and Claude Code

Requirements

• 4+ years of motion and graphic design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating motion, graphic design, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Figma
• Design leadership or mentorship experience
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Ability to communicate effectively in a remote, cross‑functional team
