Senior UX / UI Designer (m/w/d)

You will translate user stories into functional interfaces for desktop and mobile while utilizing AI tools to accelerate the prototyping process. Additionally, you will maintain the multi-brand design system and collaborate closely with developers and product owners to refine solutions.
Responsibilities
- Translate user stories into desktop and mobile interfaces from sketch to development‑ready handoff
- Create functional prototypes using AI tools such as Figma Make, Claude, Lovable or Cursor
- Participate in refinement sessions and clarify open questions early with developers and the product owner
- Design appealing, usable solutions that are efficient to implement
- Maintain and expand the multibrand design system for both design and development teams
- Develop and share AI‑augmented design workflows with the design team
- Gather targeted user feedback quickly when it meaningfully improves decisions
- Collaborate closely with developers, considering components, states, edge cases and responsive behavior from the start
- Make independent design decisions and articulate the rationale clearly
Requirements
- Several years of senior‑level experience in interface design for complex digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end UI delivery
- Daily use of AI design tools and proven AI‑driven workflow improvements
- Deep expertise with Figma, including Auto Layout, Variants and Design Systems
- Ability to build high‑fidelity, interactive prototypes that feel like the final product
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or frontend component architecture
- Team player who can speak the language of engineering and think in components, states and responsive behavior
- Self‑directed decision‑making and the ability to justify design choices succinctly
- Awareness of when 80 % is enough for testing versus when refinement is needed
- Experience in the gastronomy sector is a plus
