Create clear curriculum graphics, animations, explainer videos, and interactive learning experiences, from concept and storyboard through final production. Lead and mentor the design team, establish visual standards and reusable assets, improve production workflows, and prototype new formats with product, design, and engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Design learning visuals, graphics, animations, motion pieces, and explainer videos in collaboration with Learning Experience Designers
- Establish and maintain visual and motion standards, guidelines, templates, and reusable asset libraries for curriculum content
- Lead the design team by running critiques, weekly planning sessions, and retrospectives; mentor designers and improve intake, review, and handoff processes
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to create shared libraries, AIāassisted workflows, and automate repetitive tasks
- Prototype interactive formats such as clickable diagrams, simple simulations, and stepābyāstep visual explainers for the learning platform
- Edit and enhance video content, adding simple visual effects and sound design
- Experiment with new video and interactive formats, using Claude Design and Claude Code to prototype faster
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of motion and graphic design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating motion, graphic design, and visual storytelling created with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Figma
- Design leadership experience, such as mentoring designers or establishing design standards
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken
- Experience with interactive and UX design is a plus
- Handsāon experience with AI creative tools like Claude Design, Claude Code, or AI agents in Figma
- Background in edātech, eālearning, or instructional design; Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus
