Senior Product Designer

Design an integrated platform for procurement and construction, covering bid comparison, contracting, construction planning, cost control, and the feedback of actual project data into the company’s catalog and financial systems. Conduct field research and collaborate with product, engineering, project management, and construction teams to improve adoption, measure outcomes, and raise design quality.

Responsibilities

• Transform independent Excel modules (offer comparison, contracting, construction planning, cost control) into an integrated platform that improves cost, speed, and reliability.
• Design and develop high‑volume data interfaces such as comparative tables, contract scopes, planning dashboards, cost‑control panels, and approval flows with intuitive UX and high visual quality.
• Define foundations and principles that enable Project Management teams to feed data into the system and ensure real‑contracted prices and performance metrics feed back into the catalog.
• Design for less‑digitized users in the value chain, including site managers, construction crews, and suppliers.
• Visit construction sites to observe real‑world workflows and incorporate insights into design solutions.
• Drive platform adoption from day one, collaborating closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Construction teams to identify problems, test solutions, and iterate improvements.
• Contribute to the design team’s process: lead design critiques, promote AI adoption, and raise overall quality through mentorship.
• Use product analytics and research to measure adoption, spot friction, and iterate quickly.

Requirements

• More than five years of experience designing digital products as a Senior or Lead Product Designer (individual contributor).
• Experience with B2B products or high‑volume data interfaces.
• Background in fast‑growing startups or rapid‑scale environments.
• Proficiency in qualitative user research, direct client conversations, and business data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of user‑centered design methodologies and systemic thinking.
• Ability to align diverse stakeholder opinions and maintain high‑quality output.
• Use of AI tools for rapid prototyping, UI text generation, and design‑to‑development handoff.
• Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) and professional‑level English.
• Experience in construction, architecture, or engineering domains is a plus.
• Track record of building products from 0‑to‑1 or redesigning major areas within an established design system.
