Product Designer, AWS Field Experience

You will design end-to-end user experiences for strategic AWS initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems. You are responsible for advocating for design excellence, negotiating priorities, and measuring the health of user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide designs for new and existing solutions from concept through execution
• Negotiate priorities and align on customer problems and product vision with design leadership
• Design complex workflows and balance divergent user perspectives across technologies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, peer designers, managers, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and end users
• Identify quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure UX health
• Help scale design processes and raise design quality across the organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in design, HCI, or related field
• Portfolio with study plans, reports, personas, and high‑fidelity prototypes
• Strong foundation in design thinking and usability principles
• Proficiency with design software and AI tools
• Experience creating user flows, low/high fidelity designs, and prototypes
• Familiarity with interaction design, agentic experience design, and IA
• Working knowledge of responsive design, design systems, and grid principles
• Ability to conduct user research and craft personas or JTBD
• Strong communication and presentation skills
