The Senior UX Designer will lead user-centered discovery and design activities throughout the product lifecycle, utilizing AI tools to enhance research and design workflows. They are responsible for creating complex user flows, wireframes, and prototypes while ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design complex user flows, wireframes, interaction concepts and high‑fidelity prototypes
- Apply AI tools to accelerate UX research and design, while ensuring responsible AI use
- Define discovery and research objectives, success criteria and collaborate with product teams
- Conduct and synthesize research activities (interviews, usability testing, surveys, quantitative methods)
- Create personas, journey maps, problem statements and translate findings into design solutions
- Identify AI opportunities within customer and user journeys and contribute to responsible AI experiences
- Maintain consistency with existing design systems, interaction patterns and accessibility standards
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, data and other stakeholders to align decisions
- Present design recommendations backed by research and design logic
- Provide constructive feedback, knowledge sharing and occasional mentoring to peers
Requirements
- Extensive experience in UX or product design, including complex interaction design, wireframing and high‑fidelity prototyping
- Proven ability to plan and conduct UX research (interviews, usability tests, surveys, quantitative & qualitative analysis)
- Strong competence with AI tools to enhance research and design workflows
- Critical evaluation of AI‑generated outputs against user insights and business goals
- Experience designing for B2B or enterprise software, preferably in the public sector
- Fluent German and excellent English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work autonomously, influence teams without direct authority and mentor colleagues
