Civil Design Technologist, Community Development

Prepare and maintain civil design drawings and Civil 3D models for community and site development projects, including grading, roads, stormwater systems, and underground utilities, from concept through construction. Coordinate drawing packages with engineers and other disciplines, address municipal review comments, prepare record drawings, and support quality standards and junior team members.

Coordinate drawing packages with engineers and other disciplines, address municipal review comments, prepare record drawings, and support quality standards and junior team members.
Requirements
- Requires a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline and 5 to 7 years of civil drafting or design experience, ideally in consulting and community or site development. Candidates need advanced Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills, experience with grading, stormwater and utility drawings, and familiarity with municipal design standards; a C.E.T. designation and several additional software and project experience areas are assets.
