Product Designer

Partner with engineers and customers to understand developer needs, then own product design from early concepts and prototypes through final polish. Create intuitive interfaces for AI-driven workflows, bring distinctive visuals and interactions to the product, and evolve the design system while maintaining high standards for craft and usability.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers and customers to understand developer needs and create clear designs
- Own product design from concept through final polish
- Explore how AI changes software interaction and create new UI patterns
- Infuse creativity and personality through visuals, motion, and interactions
- Evolve Greptile’s design system while maintaining high craft and usability standards
Requirements
- 3+ years product design experience, preferably at a fast‑growing startup
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, interaction design, and product thinking
- Ability to make complex technical concepts intuitive
- Curiosity about AI and willingness to experiment with new design approaches
- Strong collaboration skills and ownership mindset
- Fluency in Figma
- Experience with AI‑assisted design tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Figma MCP, or Paper MCP
