Lead the end-to-end design of business-specific features and define product strategy for Amazon Business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synthesize customer data and drive strategic decisions that improve the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of business‑specific features on top of Amazon.com store capabilities, from framing to detailed design and launch
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape requirements, make high‑judgment trade‑offs, and address system constraints, edge cases, and scale
- Synthesize customer anecdotes, heuristics, user tests, surveys, experiment data, and product analytics into strategic insights and roadmap recommendations
- Present and defend design recommendations in stakeholder reviews, building consensus across divergent partners
- Measure impact of shipped features through product and CX metrics, feeding learnings back into the roadmap
- Define and refine interaction patterns, standards, and ways of working, driving adoption across teams to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery
- Contribute to new AI‑native design processes and stay current with emerging standards and paradigms
- Mentor and critique other designers, raising the craft bar across the team
- Collaborate with design systems team and coach teammates on implementation
Requirements
- Professional experience in product or UX design
- Online portfolio showcasing design work
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Prototyping skills using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
- Experience applying Scrum to visual or UX design processes (preferred)
- Experience designing complex workflow UX (preferred)
