Tooling Design Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Assist with designing, detailing, and updating injection molds, tooling assemblies, drawings, and bills of materials, while supporting new mold development and engineering changes. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot tooling and production issues, maintain documentation, and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot tooling and production issues, maintain documentation, and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, tooling, plastics engineering, or a related technical field, and have basic CAD skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are required; experience with tooling, injection molding, CNC machining, GD&T, or manufacturing is preferred.
