Senior Product Designer (w/m/d/x) – mit Deutschkenntnissen (C1)

You will be responsible for the end-to-end design of complex B2B SaaS workflows, ensuring intuitive and consistent user experiences. This includes validating user needs, creating high-fidelity mockups, and maintaining the design system while collaborating closely with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Continuously validate user needs through interviews, usability tests and prototypes before development starts
- Design complex user flows, wireframes and scalable information architecture for data‑intensive interfaces such as claim handling, workflow builders and admin panels
- Produce high‑fidelity mockups and prototypes while actively evolving the design system for consistency across tables, filters and forms
- Leverage AI‑first design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude) to translate user insights into top‑tier UX solutions
- Develop deep domain knowledge of insurance and contribute to the internal knowledge base
- Deliver precise specifications, assets, spacing, edge cases and states to engineering
- Champion the voice of the user across the organisation, focusing on efficiency and error reduction
Requirements
- Fluent in German (minimum C1) and English, both written and spoken
- Proven experience designing complex, data‑intensive B2B SaaS interfaces
- Strong skills in user research, usability testing and interview techniques
- Expertise in interaction design, systems thinking and information architecture
- Ability to create high‑fidelity mockups, prototypes and contribute to a design system
- Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted design tools such as Figma Make or Claude
- Deep interest or willingness to learn the insurance domain
- Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for the user perspective
