Engineer, Design Engineering

The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and performance evaluation of compressor motors for air conditioning products. This includes managing the entire process from specification formulation and prototyping to technical support for mass production and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Electromagnetic and structural design of compressor motors
- Define specifications, design, prototype and evaluate new models
- Provide technical support and quality verification for mass‑production launch
- Lead quality improvement, market failure countermeasures and VA activities
- Validate performance using simulation and physical testing
- Investigate technologies to improve motor performance and reliability
- Conduct joint research with universities or research institutes
- Evaluate and apply new technologies to products
- Coordinate technical adjustments with domestic and overseas departments
- Participate in design improvement activities to enhance competitiveness of air‑conditioning products
Requirements
- Practical experience in motor design (concept, drawing, evaluation) or strong knowledge in electrical/electronic engineering
- Fundamental knowledge of electromagnetics, motor control and electric circuits
- Ability to work collaboratively with related departments
- Proactive problem‑solving attitude
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation software (JMAG) – preferred
- Experience designing brushless motors – preferred
- Experience working with overseas sites or manufacturers – preferred
- Experience in joint research with universities or research institutes – preferred
- Experience in air‑conditioning or compressor‑related product development – preferred
- Willingness to communicate in English
