Staff Product Designer - Growth | Deel

Lead design for growth initiatives tied to activation, engagement, retention, and monetization, using rapid design, prototyping, and A/B testing in collaboration with product, engineering, data, and marketing. Improve growth flows and design systems, partner with engineers through design QA, identify and resolve user or team friction, and mentor product designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across growth projects and connect work to activation, engagement, retention and monetisation metrics
• Design, prototype and A/B test quickly with product, engineering, data and marketing partners
• Collaborate with the UI team on design system, motion, animations and micro‑interactions
• Identify friction points for users or the team and create solutions
• Stay involved from idea to design QA alongside engineers
• Mentor product designers and help improve team processes

Requirements

• 5–7 years of product design experience, including 2+ years at Staff level
• Proven growth design experience (onboarding flows, pricing pages, subscriptions, virality features)
• Strong portfolio with at least one case study
• Comfort with hypothesis formation, A/B testing and data analysis
• Familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar analytics tools
• Ability to leverage AI tools early in the design process
• Clear communication and ability to influence cross‑functional teams
