Softgoods Product Design Engineering Intern

Design and develop softgoods parts and assemblies for wearables, charging cases, and accessories, using 3D CAD, engineering analysis, prototyping, and testing to refine product performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to define requirements, resolve production issues, and deliver manufacturable, reliable, cost-efficient designs.

- Design and develop softgoods parts and assemblies for wearables, charging cases, and accessories, using 3D CAD, engineering analysis, prototyping, and testing to refine product performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to define requirements, resolve production issues, and deliver manufacturable, reliable, cost-efficient designs.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, have experience with 3D CAD, and be able to build prototypes and conduct hands-on testing. They should have strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and some familiarity with manufacturing processes; experience with consumer electronics, softgoods, Siemens NX, prototyping methods, and GD&T is preferred.
