Product Designer

Design and ship end-to-end product experiences across agent tools, policyholder products, and internal platforms, from discovery through implementation. Collaborate with product and engineering, use research and metrics to improve designs, and evolve shared design systems while maintaining high standards for usability and visual quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship clear, intuitive product interfaces for multiple user types
• Own end‑to‑end user flows from concept through implementation
• Partner with product managers and engineers to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Use research, testing, and product metrics to inform and improve designs
• Contribute to and evolve Sola’s design system and shared UI patterns
• Maintain high standards of visual, interaction, and usability quality across all screens

Requirements

• 3+ years of in‑house product design experience with shipped products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and interface design
• Ability to design across fidelity levels, from high‑level flows to detailed interactions
• Structured design process using research, principles, and clear rationale
• Collaboration experience with product managers, engineers, and designers
• Understanding of design’s impact on adoption, usability, and long‑term quality
• Clear communication and presentation skills
• Strong visual and interface design focusing on hierarchy, clarity, and consistency
