Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design delivery for data centre projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring designs meet technical, regulatory, commercial, and programme requirements. Manage consultants, BIM coordination, design risks and changes, construction support, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement of design standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design delivery for data centre projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring designs meet technical, regulatory, commercial, and programme requirements. Manage consultants, BIM coordination, design risks and changes, construction support, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement of design standards.
Requirements
- Requires a degree in a relevant engineering, building services, civil, structural, architectural, or related technical discipline and at least seven years of experience in design management, engineering, or multidisciplinary design coordination. Candidates should have experience with complex construction or mission-critical projects, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, BIM tools and CDEs, and relevant UK legislation and standards.
