Own product design from problem definition and user discovery through prototyping, launch, and iteration, making complex compliance workflows and AI-driven dashboards clear and usable. Establish and maintain the design system, conduct lightweight user research, partner closely with engineers during implementation, and uphold product quality as it scales.
Responsibilities
- Own endâtoâend product areas, from problem definition through discovery, highâfidelity design, and launch, then iterate based on usage data
- Design complex, AIâdriven dashboards and multiâstep compliance workflows that feel clear and calm
- Define and maintain the design system, including components, tokens, and patterns, to keep the fastâshipping team coherent
- Create interactive prototypes to validate flows before engineering effort
- Conduct lightweight user research, usability sessions, and synthesize findings into actionable design decisions
- Partner tightly with engineering, reviewing builds against intent and ensuring shipped experiences match designs
- Audit live product for consistency, raise the craft bar, and address visual or interaction inconsistencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital product design experience, especially with complex B2B SaaS, developer tools, or dataâheavy applications
- Strong portfolio showing shipped products and design thinking
- Expertise in visual and interaction design, including typography, layout, hierarchy, and motion
- Mastery of a modern design tool such as Figma, Framer, or similar, with component systems and interactive prototyping
- Deep understanding of design systems, component architecture, tokens, and responsive design for scale
- Demonstrated use of AI tools in design workflow (exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, asset generation)
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineers, understanding tradeâoffs between design and implementation
- Experience working autonomously in a small team and setting direction amid ambiguity
