Design Manager

Lead and personally deliver multidisciplinary engineering design from concept through manufacture and commissioning, while approving design outputs and ensuring safety, quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance. Manage and develop a distributed design team, maintain CAD and data systems, and coordinate technical scope, budgets, manufacturing partners, and client delivery.

Manage and develop a distributed design team, maintain CAD and data systems, and coordinate technical scope, budgets, manufacturing partners, and client delivery.
Requirements
- Requires proven experience leading a mechanical, process, or machinery design team, alongside a personal portfolio and a record of delivering complex design packages through commissioning. Candidates need advanced SolidWorks or equivalent parametric CAD skills, strong engineering and design-control expertise, people and client leadership skills, and an HNC/HND or degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline; site travel across the UK is required.
