Design player interactions for Destiny 2, turning complex and ambiguous goals into clear, actionable UX solutions in collaboration with a cross-functional team. Use research, diagrams, playtesting, mockups, and prototypes to communicate and validate experiences, and document reusable design strategies, guidelines, and patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design player interactions for Destiny 2 and translate complex goals into clear UX solutions
- Create diagrams, mockups, prototypes and conduct playtesting to validate experiences
- Document reusable design strategies, guidelines and patterns
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers and artists throughout the development cycle
- Apply research findings to inform design decisions
Requirements
- Experience working on a cross‑functional product team
- Portfolio of UX projects demonstrating user‑centered design, visual communication, iterative design, and systems‑thinking
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Degree in HCI, User Experience, Cognitive Science or equivalent (preferred)
- Game‑platform experience and player‑onboarding expertise (desirable)
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
