Own end-to-end design for Mobilize, from problem framing through launch and iteration, while shaping design direction and shared patterns across the NGP VAN product suite. Partner with product and engineering leaders to influence roadmaps, conduct research and usability testing, uphold accessibility and craft standards, evolve design systems, and mentor designers.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for Mobilize, from problem framing through launch and iteration, while shaping design direction and shared patterns across the NGP VAN product suite. Partner with product and engineering leaders to influence roadmaps, conduct research and usability testing, uphold accessibility and craft standards, evolve design systems, and mentor designers.
Requirements
- Requires 8+ years of product design experience and a portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex, multi-surface products, along with strong interaction and visual design skills, research rigor, and experience influencing product strategy and contributing to design systems. Candidates should be comfortable designing AI functionality and using AI tools, committed to accessibility and ethical AI, and able to communicate and defend design decisions; HTML/CSS familiarity and mentoring experience are preferred.
