Senior Physical Design Engineering Lead

Lead customer ASIC programs from RFQ and technology planning through design, testing, packaging, fabrication, bring-up, and production. Validate physical design flows and netlists for tape-out quality, advise customers on EDA practices, and coordinate mitigation of quality, schedule, and dependency risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer ASIC programs from RFQ and technology planning through design, testing, packaging, fabrication, bring-up, and production. Validate physical design flows and netlists for tape-out quality, advise customers on EDA practices, and coordinate mitigation of quality, schedule, and dependency risks.

Requirements

• Requires more than 10 years of hands-on physical design or static timing analysis experience, familiarity with EDA flows spanning physical design, logic simulation, test, and packaging, and multiple tape-outs at advanced process nodes. Candidates should understand PPA tradeoffs and low-power design, have programming or scripting experience, and communicate effectively; prior leadership experience is not required.
