Senior Design Manager

Lead design development and delivery for refurbishment, remediation, fire safety, compliance, and building modernisation works, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external design partners. Manage design programmes and stakeholder coordination, ensuring solutions are compliant, buildable, commercially viable, and sequenced to minimise disruption in an occupied operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead design development and delivery for refurbishment, remediation, fire safety, compliance, and building modernisation works, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external design partners. Manage design programmes and stakeholder coordination, ensuring solutions are compliant, buildable, commercially viable, and sequenced to minimise disruption in an occupied operational environment.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager delivering complex refurbishment, remediation, or building upgrade projects, ideally in occupied buildings. Requires strong knowledge of building safety and regulations, experience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines and external consultants, BIM understanding, excellent stakeholder skills, and a valid CSCS card; relevant professional membership is advantageous.
