Lead the coordination, integration, assurance, and delivery of multidisciplinary rail design projects from feasibility through detailed design and construction support, ensuring technical quality, compliance, programme, and commercial outcomes. Manage engineering interfaces, requirements, risks, and change; work with clients and delivery partners; contribute to bids and business growth; and mentor developing design and engineering managers.
Requirements
- Candidates should have significant experience leading multidisciplinary rail design delivery and operating as a CEM-D, CEM, or equivalent on rail infrastructure projects, with responsibility for engineering governance, assurance, and compliance. Chartered status and full corporate membership of a relevant engineering institution are required, alongside knowledge of Network Rail design assurance and strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
