Design resilient, cost-effective electrical systems for data centers, developing projects from concept through permitting and construction documentation while coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring code compliance. Define equipment specifications, review submittals, support construction and commissioning, and conduct site reviews and electrical system evaluations across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Create data center electrical designs and construction document sets
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure designs meet quality and budget requirements
• Work with local agencies to ensure code compliance
• Review and approve equipment submittals
• Define project scope and provide technical support during construction phases
• Work with commissioning teams to test and validate electrical systems
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across geographic regions
• Travel to sites for reviews, audits, and startup support
• Provide creative, out‑of‑the‑box solutions and contribute to team culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission‑critical facilities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
• Experience with building codes and regulations
• Ability to read, interpret, and create construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
