Part-time Graphic Designer

The position involves conceptualizing and designing marketing print and digital collateral to support the college's mission and brand. Responsibilities include collaborating with various departments, managing project workflows, and photographing campus events and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout promotional materials and publications following college brand standards
• Incorporate multicultural perspectives into marketing collateral
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and recommend improvements
• Organize and maintain electronic project files and image resources
• Collaborate with various departments to develop marketing pieces that meet organizational needs
• Manage workflow, prioritize projects and meet deadlines using the department project‑management tool
• Prepare print‑ready files and coordinate with the print center
• Coordinate digital and static signage displays on campus
• Photograph college campuses, faculty and staff as needed
• Provide backup support for other Marketing and Communications team members

Requirements

• Associate degree in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or related field
• Two years of professional graphic design experience
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with both Mac and PC platforms
• Creative page‑layout skills for print and digital/web marketing
• Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail
• Digital photography, animation or video editing skills
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
