Lead transmission line and substation design across high- and medium-voltage infrastructure, coordinating design inputs and interfaces from concept through detailed delivery. Manage technical governance, constructability, cost, schedule, design changes and risks; lead safety and hazard reviews; and oversee consultants while mentoring engineers.

Manage technical governance, constructability, cost, schedule, design changes and risks; lead safety and hazard reviews; and oversee consultants while mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years leading high-voltage transmission design at 220 kV or above, from concept to detail, plus at least five years of fieldwork supporting engineering and site activities. Candidates should know IEC, IEEE and AS/NZS standards and hold, or be working toward, chartered status such as RPEV, RPEQ, NER or CPEng; successful completion of a pre-employment medical and National Crime check is also required.
