The Staff UI/UX Designer will lead the end-to-end product design strategy and execution for Coupang Pay's new business initiatives. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business leaders to optimize user experiences and define product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design vision and execution from strategy to delivery
- Collaborate closely with business leaders, product managers, engineers, operations and marketing
- Participate in product roadmap and priority discussions, injecting design perspective
- Improve and standardize the platform‑wide design system
- Own product quality through cross‑functional collaboration and prioritisation
- Define problems and UX strategy based on data and research
- Iterate using metrics‑driven improvements and A/B testing
- Explore design for new devices and future usage scenarios
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Computer Science, Psychology or related field
- Portfolio showcasing successfully launched products or design work
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to conduct user research, create journeys, wireframes and UI designs end‑to‑end
- Experience collaborating directly with engineers to ensure implementation quality
- Experience working with product owners on strategy and roadmap
