Manage and coordinate design for CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects, from tender and pre-construction through delivery. Lead design teams and consultants, manage programmes and changes, identify risks and buildability issues, and coordinate with commercial and operational teams to deliver practical solutions on time, to budget, and to the required quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate design for CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects, from tender and pre-construction through delivery. Lead design teams and consultants, manage programmes and changes, identify risks and buildability issues, and coordinate with commercial and operational teams to deliver practical solutions on time, to budget, and to the required quality.
Requirements
- Candidates need proven Design Manager or Senior Design Manager experience in main contracting or fit-out contracting, including delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial workplace projects. Essential experience includes tendering and pre-construction, alongside strong design coordination, buildability, commercial fit-out, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
