Senior Industrial Product Designer

Design and develop gaming chairs and their components from initial concepts through CAD, prototyping, testing, and preparation for mass production. Collaborate with engineers and overseas OEM/ODM suppliers to refine ergonomics, materials, construction, quality, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Design new gaming chair models and develop the brand design language
- Create 3D/CAD models, sketches, visualizations, and technical documentation
- Develop ergonomic seat and back geometries, lumbar support systems, and adjustability features
- Select materials, colors, finishes (CMF) and coordinate with suppliers
- Lead prototyping, testing, and validation of ergonomics, comfort, durability, and safety
- Identify and resolve construction issues, manage cost targets, and propose alternative solutions
- Prepare production specifications, dimensional drawings, and quality standards
- Collaborate with factories and suppliers in Asia, conduct technical meetings and visits
Requirements
- 2–3 years experience in physical product design and development
- Full product development cycle experience (brief, CAD, prototyping, validation, mass production)
- Strong industrial and product design skills
- Proficiency with at least one 3D CAD tool (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Rhino, CATIA, Fusion 360, Autodesk Alias)
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA, tooling, BOM, tolerances, and technical documentation
- Experience with upholstery materials, foams, fabrics, mesh seating, and mechanical mechanisms
- Excellent technical English and ability to communicate with OEM/ODM suppliers
- Willingness to travel for factory visits
