Design Manager, Operations Design Team

Manage end-to-end composite designs for fulfillment center projects, ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, timely approvals, and readiness for field execution. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, track program delivery, resolve design risks, improve processes, identify cost savings, and support team members and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver composite designs for fulfillment centers with safety and quality focus
• Scale programs and share value initiatives across multiple teams
• Foster collaboration and align stakeholders to deliver precise customer solutions
• Run high‑quality design processes ready for field execution and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to cost‑reduction through clash detection, flow improvement, and P&D allocations
• Own end‑to‑end design for assigned projects and mentor team members
• Support Design Program Manager in planning, execution, and tracking
• Act as SME for Ops Design processes and facilitate program‑level meetings
• Collaborate with safety, construction, engineering, real‑estate, procurement, and other experts

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in design/innovation, R&D, manufacturing, process or industrial engineering
• Experience managing engineering design projects and leading cross‑functional teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, KeyShot
• Strong English communication skills
