Senior Product Designer

Own end-to-end experience design for CodePath’s learning platform, including user flows, navigation, information architecture, and the design system. Conduct lightweight discovery with students and staff, partner with product managers and engineers on build-ready designs, direct a UI design contractor, and maintain experience quality across the product.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end user flows, navigation, and information architecture across the platform and document them as wireframes and specifications
• Own and evolve CodePath's design system, including interaction patterns, components, and standards
• Run lightweight product discovery by talking to students, staff, and internal stakeholders
• Partner with product managers to turn prioritized initiatives into build‑ready designs
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design questions during implementation
• Direct a UI design contractor to extend output and ensure quality
• Set and maintain the bar for experience quality across the product

Requirements

• 6+ years designing web products end‑to‑end with a strong portfolio
• Strong information architecture and interaction design skills
• Experience running lightweight product discovery with users and stakeholders
• Experience building and maintaining a design system
• Fluency in producing engineer‑ready artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, specs) using Figma or comparable tools
• Front‑end fluency (HTML, CSS, Tailwind) to collaborate closely with engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Passion for education and positive impact
