Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will own the end-to-end experience design of the platform, including navigation, user flows, and the creation of a comprehensive design system. They will also conduct user discovery, partner with product managers and engineers, and direct UI design contractors to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end user flows, navigation, and information architecture across the platform
• Document designs as wireframes and specifications for engineers
• Own and evolve CodePath’s design system, including interaction patterns and components
• Run lightweight product discovery by interviewing students, staff, and stakeholders
• Partner with product managers to turn prioritized initiatives into build‑ready designs
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design questions during implementation
• Direct a UI design contractor and set quality standards for the experience

Requirements

• 6+ years designing web products end‑to‑end
• Strong information architecture and interaction design skills
• Experience running user discovery and research
• Experience building a design system
• Proficiency in Figma or comparable design tools
• Front‑end fluency (HTML, CSS, Tailwind) to collaborate with engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in ambiguous, small‑team environments
