Design and deliver interfaces from discovery through development handoff, map user journeys, identify workflow friction, and validate solutions with users. Partner closely with engineering throughout the product lifecycle and maintain consistent visual standards and product components.
Responsibilities
- Design high‑ and low‑fidelity interfaces, wireframes, interactive prototypes and final screens ready for development handoff
- Map complete user journeys, identify friction points in operational flows and propose continuous improvements
- Partner closely with engineering throughout discovery, technical refinement, delivery and iteration phases
- Conduct user testing and validate hypotheses with internal operators, partners and correspondents
- Act as guardian of the interface, ensuring consistency and evolving visual patterns and components
Requirements
- Proven experience designing insurance or financial products, especially complex approval flows, dense forms and document management
- Strong analytical ability to simplify regulatory and business rules into accessible interfaces
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component creation and file organization
- Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate discovery and prototype generation
- Excellent communication skills for negotiating with technical teams and aligning scope
- Ability to maintain visual consistency and evolve UI component libraries
