Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, oversee design quality and documentation, manage vendors and material specifications, resolve technical issues, and guide engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for critical data center infrastructure projects, coordinating with project managers and engineers to integrate mechanical systems with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, oversee design quality and documentation, manage vendors and material specifications, resolve technical issues, and guide engineering teams.
Requirements
- Requires at least five years of data center mechanical design experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, fluency in Japanese and English, strong knowledge of local mechanical codes and standards, and experience managing complex mechanical design projects. AutoCAD or Revit proficiency, systems integration knowledge, quality assurance experience, and vendor coordination skills are preferred but not required.
