Support the Design Manager with design contract administration, project coordination, meetings, documentation, design reviews, and construction-phase reviews of RFIs, submittals, and related documents. Coordinate A/E site visits and investigations, assist with scopes of work and cost estimates, and help ensure compliance with applicable codes, federal and Smithsonian requirements, and historic preservation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Design Manager with design contract administration, project coordination, meetings, documentation, design reviews, and construction-phase reviews of RFIs, submittals, and related documents. Coordinate A/E site visits and investigations, assist with scopes of work and cost estimates, and help ensure compliance with applicable codes, federal and Smithsonian requirements, and historic preservation standards.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline and 5–10 years of relevant experience are sought; professional registration and listed certifications are preferred. Candidates should have experience coordinating A/E teams, design reviews, site investigations, meetings, construction documentation, and contract administration, along with strong communication and organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project/document management systems.
