Senior Interaction Designer

Design and document detailed interaction patterns, interface states, micro-interactions, and high-fidelity prototypes, applying and extending the GOV.UK Design System. Collaborate with researchers, UX designers, and engineers to validate interactions, ensure accessible and responsive implementation, and maintain consistent shared components.

Collaborate with researchers, UX designers, and engineers to validate interactions, ensure accessible and responsive implementation, and maintain consistent shared components.
Requirements
- Candidates should have expert proficiency in Figma or equivalent tools and a strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, prototyping, and design system work. They should understand WCAG 2.2, have working knowledge of HTML and CSS/Sass and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, and be able to communicate design decisions effectively; experience using AI tools is also requested.
