Senior Product Designer, Verifications

Own end-to-end design for Checkr’s verification experiences, including drug and occupational health testing, simplifying complex workflows for candidates, employers, and operations teams. Partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to research, prototype, deliver, and iterate on accessible, trustworthy solutions while contributing to design systems and team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for Checkr’s verification experiences, including drug and occupational health testing, simplifying complex workflows for candidates, employers, and operations teams. Partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to research, prototype, deliver, and iterate on accessible, trustworthy solutions while contributing to design systems and team alignment.

Requirements

• Candidates should have 5–8 or more years of product design experience, a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work and measurable impact, and the ability to simplify complex workflows while balancing user, business, and technical needs. They should be skilled in lightweight research, interaction and visual design, accessibility, cross-functional collaboration, and communicating decisions; experience in regulated or high-trust domains is a plus.
