Senior Innovation Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Lead end-to-end development and deployment of mechatronic technologies for Amazon delivery stations, from ideation and design through testing and field implementation. Gather customer and operational feedback, validate concepts using simulation and data, manage project timelines and budgets, and coordinate with engineering, robotics, operations, vendors, and supply chain teams to scale solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end equipment technology development through ideation, design, testing and implementation
• Write requirements, functional specifications, verification plans and test procedures
• Gather field feedback and propose enhancements
• Use data‑driven analysis to influence technical and business decisions
• Define timelines, manage budgets and conduct progress reviews
• Collaborate with simulation teams for validation and workflow optimization
• Drive scalability strategies with engineering, vendors, supply chain and corporate development

Requirements

• 5+ years of hardware design and validation experience
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, KeyShot)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
• Experience taking designs from concept to mass production
• Fluent English communication skills
• Fast‑paced project management experience
