Senior Innovation Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of mechatronic technologies for Amazon delivery stations, from ideation and design through testing and field implementation. Gather customer and operational feedback, validate concepts using simulation and data, manage project schedules and budgets, and coordinate with engineering, robotics, operations, vendors, and supply chain teams to scale solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end equipment technology development through all phases
• Create requirements, functional specs, verification plans and test procedures
• Collect user feedback from field deployments and suggest improvements
• Influence decisions with data‑driven analysis
• Define timelines, manage budgets, and conduct progress reviews
• Partner with simulation teams for validation and workflow optimization
• Develop scalability strategies with engineering, vendors, supply chain and corporate development

Requirements

• 5+ years of hardware design and validation experience
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, KeyShot)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
• Experience moving designs from concept to mass production
• Fluent English communication
• Fast‑paced project management experience
