Senior Innovation Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Lead the end-to-end development, testing, and deployment of mechatronic technologies for Amazon delivery stations, including requirements, specifications, validation plans, schedules, and budgets. Partner with robotics, software, operations, engineering, vendors, and other teams to validate concepts, improve workflows, and develop scalable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technology development from concept through on‑site implementation
• Write requirements, functional specs, verification plans and test procedures
• Gather field feedback to propose enhancements
• Use data‑driven analysis to influence technical and business decisions
• Manage project timelines, budget and progress reviews
• Collaborate with simulation teams for validation and workflow optimization
• Define scalability strategies with engineering, vendors, supply chain and corporate development

Requirements

• 5+ years of hardware design and validation experience
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, KeyShot
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or equivalent
• Experience delivering designs to mass production
• Fluent English communication skills
• Project management in fast‑paced environments
