Lead design quality and technical standards across the Illinois Tollway program, advising leadership on complex engineering issues, design risks, exceptions, and practical innovations. Manage and develop multidisciplinary staff, coordinate with stakeholders and technical specialists, and guide standards, quality processes, and continuous improvement.

Manage and develop multidisciplinary staff, coordinate with stakeholders and technical specialists, and guide standards, quality processes, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, an Illinois Professional Engineer license, and at least 15 years of progressively responsible transportation design experience; an Illinois Structural Engineer license is required for candidates whose primary background is structural engineering. Candidates must have Illinois Tollway project or program experience, strong roadway or structural expertise, and demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary design, quality reviews, standards development, and technical communication.
