UX-Designer

Design and improve user flows and experiences for municipal websites and online forms, using Figma and the NL Design System to create accessible, consistent solutions. Represent end users, advise stakeholders on digital service improvements, and collaborate with webmasters, analysts, editors, and suppliers to implement and evolve designs and components.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve user flows and experiences for campaign and program websites
- Create and refine online form designs
- Advise on enhancements to the municipality’s digital services
- Represent end‑users within the organization
- Produce clickable prototypes in Figma
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the NL Design System
- Design new components aligned with the visual identity
- Gather user needs and insights through research
- Translate insights and requirements into detailed Figma designs
- Collaborate with webmasters, analysts, and editorial staff to implement designs
Requirements
- 3‑5 years of experience as a UX Designer
- Experience with UI design and design systems
- Proficiency with Figma, design tokens, and component libraries
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing
- Strong knowledge of user‑centered design principles
- Experience working with the NL Design System
- Excellent communication and stakeholder advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Understanding of digital public‑service environments
